Gartner Magic Quadrant 2021 named SaaS company Qlik a Challenger for Data Integration Tools. This designation marks the sixth consecutive year that Qlik has been recognised in the quadrant.

Commenting on the development, Qlik Chief Product Officer James Fisher said Qlik’s data integration platform is helping leading organisations create, automate and manage their analytics data pipelines as part of their journey to Active Intelligence.

“Our unique, agnostic platform is helping enterprises access, transform and deliver the real-time data essential to data-driven decision making, and is a key element in helping customers drive their modern analytics, cloud migration, data lake management, and data integration strategies,” said James Fisher.

As part of Qlik’s vision of active intelligence with deeper visibility into the lifecycle of data, increasing confidence and use of data for informed actions, the company announced the acquisition of NodeGraph so that it can enhance end-to-end analytics data pipelines

According to Arvian Research the acquisition of NodeGraph, a customisable metadata management solution, is expected to drive “explainable BI,” a higher level of visibility and trust in data.
