Bengaluru, NFAPost: Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBEI), an offshore development centre for Bosch worldwide, today announced its plans to hire 2,500 technology professionals in 2021. This includes 1,000 freshers and 1,500 experienced professionals over the course of the year, to help its growth prospects while fulfilling the demand for niche technology solutions across industries.

The primary focus of this hiring campaign is to rope in skilled professionals in areas of mobility, embedded, IT, digital and new age technologies. The company plans to recruit fresh graduates from premier institutions and colleges across the country and for its lateral hires, RBEI will adopt a skill and competency-based approach to tap bright talent from the market.

“Last year, we witnessed unprecedented business momentum at RBEI in India, in what was a difficult year for us all. This was owing to the phenomenal passion and cohesion of our teams, who were driven to build some of the industry’s best technology solutions for our clients. We rewarded this strong performance with an average 10 percent hike to our employees. Our steady hiring in the year ahead speaks for the growth that we have envisioned for RBEI in India”, said Dattatri Salagame, President and Managing Director at RBEI, India.

“With the talent landscape being so dynamic and with the influx of digital natives and young talent, our hiring game plan has but no choice to be in tune with the future trends. Bringing in the best talent will serve as our competitive advantage”, said Sriram TV, Vice President – HR, RBEI India.

“To cater to the growing demands of RBEI’s customers, and to build on their existing skills, the new hires will undergo focused learning on the job at the India centres. While we went virtual with the hiring and onboarding process during the lockdown, we will be taking a hybrid (virtual and physical) approach to heighten candidate experience,” he added.
