Amritsar, NFA Post: The week ended October 10 saw 20 Indian startups raise funding. Out of this 20, 13 received a total amount of around $96 million.

Chargebee was the highest grosser this week with a funding of about $55 million, followed by $18.5 million raised by Uni.

Summary of deals closed in week Oct 5-11

Chargebee: SaaS-based subscription billing and revenue operations platform for businesses, Chargebee secured $55 million in its Series F funding round.

The round was led by Insight Partners, and saw participation from existing investors Steadview Capital and Tiger Global.

Uni: In its maiden funding round, fintech startup Uni has raised $18.5 million. The funding round was led by Lightspeed Ventures India and Accel Partners India. 

Treebo: Budget hotel brand Treebo has secured $6 million in a fresh funding round from existing investors SAIF Partners, Matrix Partners India, Bertelsmann India Investments, and Ward Ferry.

Lido Learning: In its ongoing Seed-1 funding round, Mumbai-based Lido Learning, which conducts online coaching in Science, Maths, English, and coding genres to students of grade four to nine, has raised $3.9 million.

The investment came from about a dozen investors including angels and family offices.

Ergos: Patna-based agritech startup Ergos has secured $3.2 million from Chiratae Ventures and ABF respectively, in its Series A round of funding.

This takes the total funding in Series A round for Ergos to $8.2 million.

WinUall: Edtech platform WinUall, which provides technology infrastructure to offline coaching institutes, has raised around $2 million from Prime Venture Partners, Beenext and angel investors such as LivSpace founder Ramakant Sharma.

NirogStreet: In a pre-Series A round led by early-stage venture capital firm Wavemaker Partners and Amand Ventures, ayurveda startup NirogStreet has secured $2 million.

Emotix: In its extended Series A round of funding led by existing investors Chiratae Ventures, learning robots maker Emotix has raised $1.9 million.

Unnati: Agri-input and produce platform Unnati has secured $1.7 million in pre-Series A round from Nabventures Fund.

Krishitantra: In its seed round of funding, agritech firm Krishitantra has raised $1 million from Omnivore and Nabventures.

Acculi Labs: Bengaluru-based health-technology firm Acculi Labs has secured $700,000 in a seed funding round from PirE Ventures.

Genrobotics: In a pre-Series A funding round led by existing investor Unicorn India Ventures,  robotics firm Genrobotics has raised $340,000.

The funding round also saw participation from SEA Fund and Anand Mahindra.

SpotKwik: Bengaluru-based cohort startup SpotKwik has secured $30,000 in a pre-seed round from MARL 5G Accelerator.

Undisclosed deals this week

Financial details of the remaining seven startups — Pesto Tech, PakkaProfile, Unocoin, Omnify, MikeLegal, Gourmet Garden and Bambrew — were not disclosed.
